This seminar will provide information regarding the diagnostic criteria of the DSM - 5 for Autistic Spectrum Disorder in males and new insight regarding females on the spectrum. Participants will gain helpful information to provide therapeutic support, both individually and in a social skills group setting. Participants will review the ethical principles of the NASW Code of ethics and discuss how facilitation of social skills groups and support groups for those identified as ASD exemplifies these principals. 3.0 Clinical hours. Pre-registration deadline is 5/25/18. Limited to 80 participants.
