In times of high anxiety in many of our client's lives, it is necessary to identify and address situations that may become out of hand. The purpose of this workshop is to identify cues that the client illustrates and subsequently the techniques to de-escalate. This workshop is designed to address, disarm the patient's "hot buttons" and offer healthy coping techniques. It is intended that the members of this workshop will be able to actively participate in learning and applying techniques presented and, in return, be able to provide self-care and patient care in an equally rewarding manner. 3.0 Clinical hours. Pre-registration deadline is 5/25/18. Limited to 45 participants.
