1941: Trauma Informed Practice

1941: May 3, 2019; 8:45 am - 12:00 pm. Registration begins at 8:15 am.  (Lake Charles).   Trauma Informed Practice.   Presented by Rose M. Daigle, LPC, MA, LMFT, DVC, RT.   Family and Youth Counseling Agency, Inc., 220 Louie Street, Lake Charles, LA 70601.  This workshop will specifically deal with clinical techniques in treating someone in trauma.  It will cover the effects of trauma in the following areas: physical, emotional, social, behavioral, and psychological effects of trauma.  The following groups could benefit from this workshop: OCS, Mental Health, Domestic Violence, VA, Rape Crisis or any other agency or individual who treats trauma.  3.0 Clinical hours.   Pre-registration deadline is 4/26/19.  Limited to 40 participants.
