(Lake Charles).   Relational Work in the Treatment of Addiction and Substance Abuse/Misuse.   Presented by Parker Sternbergh, MHA, LCSW-BACS.   Eddie Windham, LCSW Office Building, Conference Room, 1202 Common Street, Lake Charles, LA 70601.  This workshop will provide research and treatment methods focusing on relational work to heal clients on their journey to recovery.  The workshop focuses on substance abuse and addiction as a symptom of other issues that have been dominant in the client’s life.  Healing the family as part of recovery will be covered through the presentation of the ARISE Intervention Model, and connection and creativity strategies. 3.0 Clinical hours.  Pre-registration deadline is 6/7/19.  Limited to 20 participants.
