2011: Meditation and the Brain
2011: Feb 28, 2020; 12:45 pm - 4:00 pm. Registration begins at 12:30 pm. (Houma). Meditation and the Brain. Presented by Rose Daigle, MA, LPC, LMFT, DVC, RT. Terrebonne General Hospital, Medical Atrium Auditorium, 8120 Main St., Houma, LA 70360. To be able to be in the here and now and fully in this moment is a skill that has benefits that greatly support our clients work within therapy. Participants will learn some of the new research on the brain: ways to approach the implementation of different types of meditation and the importance of noticing thoughts, body sensations and emotions as part of the meditation regimen. 3.0 Clinical hours. Pre-registration deadline is 2/21/20. Limited to 40 participants.
