Topic:  The NASW Code of Ethics- A Continuing Review.  Presented by: Patricia H Carter, LCSW-BACS.  During this meetings attendees: Will become familiar with the Louisiana Social Work Practice Act. Current issues.  Will become familiar with the Professional and Occupational Standards for Credentialed Social Workers. Possible changes.  Will discuss Social Workers' ethical responsibilities as professionals and maintaining competence. 1.0 Ethical hour.  Pre-registration is required to be awarded CEU credit.

Patricia Carter, LCSW-BACS has 25 plus years experience as a Social Worker, including work in hospice, adoption, nephrology, oncology, case management and behavioral health-both inpatient and outpatient.
