Topic:  Care and Conflict: Reconciling and Completing Ethical and Professional Principles. Presented by: Dr. Matthew Butkus, PhD., HEC-C.  During this meeting participants will:   1. Understand the Professional relationships and competing obligations in Social Work Practice.  2.Learn to navigate resources, meeting client needs.  3. Maintaining Professional boundaries while balancing ethical principles   2.00 Ethical hours.  Pre-registration is required to be awarded CEU credit.


Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info.naswla@socialworkers.org and received three days prior to the workshop.  An administrative fee of $15 will be deducted from the reimbursement.


Presenter Bio

Dr. Butkus is a Professor in the Department of Social Sciences at McNeese State University. His areas of Specialization is Healthcare Ethics, Neuroethics, and Artifical Intelligence He has taught courses in Philosophy, Biomedical Ethics, Legal and Ethical Practices, and Healthcare Laws. Dr. Butkus is an established Author of one book and numerous articles as well as receiving numerous awards in his works related to Ethical issues.
