Presenter Bio

Elizabeth Back, LCSW, LICSW hails from the Northeast, but has been in New Orleans for the last decade. Elizabeth has had an extensive career in mental health, both before and after her time in the Army. With a strong background in substance use disorder, Elizabeth has worked for the courts, community health care and now runs a private practice in the city, specializing in solution-focused, harm reduction-based care for a variety of individuals, including those participating in alternative relationship dynamics. Elizabeth’s goals include helping to remove barriers to access to care and expanding whole-body, wholistic care for mental health. She is also currently an adjunct at Tulane University. When not rocking her social worker hat, Elizabeth enjoys metal concerts, baking and knitting things that are square.
