In Part 1, learn about powers of attorney, wills, advance directives, living wills, and more, as well as inter-professional ethics (social workers, lawyers and physicians). In Part 2, learn about the elements of a legally valid, basic will in Louisiana. Presenter Bio

SHEILA M. WILKINSON helps social workers build joyful lives. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker, Attorney, Educator, Coach, Consultant, and Podcast Host.  Sheila earned her BA from UNO, her MSW from Tulane, her JD from Loyola, and her LL.M. from VUB/IES in Belgium. Since 2007, Sheila has lived between Europe and the USA.  Sheila teaches at several universities, is heavily involved in community development & is the Founder of SMWPLC, an Indigenous Woman-Owned firm.
