1905: Moving Through Grief and Loss
1905: Feb 1, 2019; 8:45 am - 12:00 pm. Registration begins at 8:15 am. (Shreveport). Moving Through Grief and Loss. Presented by Rose M. Daigle, LPC, MA, LMFT, DVC, TR. Willis-Knighton Pierremont Hospital, 8001 Youree Drive, 2nd Floor Conference Room #203, Shreveport, LA 71118. Many clients have experienced some form of loss. If the client is unable or unwilling to face and move through loss, there can be physical and emotional consequences. In this workshop, participant will learn the many faces of grief and how to assist clients in working healthily through the stages of change, loss and grief. Participants learn the emotional, physical, social, spiritual and intellectual aspects to consider when working with the grieving client. 3.0 Clinical hours. Pre-registration deadline is 1/25/19. Limited to 27 participants.
