1927: Domestic Violence

(Thibodaux).   Domestic Violence.  Presented by Eddie Windham, LCSW.  Thibodaux Regional Medical Center – Main Entrance – Multipurpose Room A& B, 602 North Acadia Road, Thibodaux, LA 70301.  This workshop will include current facts about domestic violence.  Participants will learn the difference between domestic violence and anger management, and when to refer to each one.  Participants will also learn common traits of batterers and victims, factors associated with increased risk of lethality and effects of violence on children.  6.0 General hours. Pre-registration deadline is 3/29/19.  Limited to 45 participants.
