1953: Dreamwork: Assessment and Treatment Using the Client’
1953: May 24, 2019; 8:45 am - 4:15 pm. Registration begins at 8:15 am. (Shreveport). Dreamwork: Assessment and Treatment Using the Client’s Dreams. Presented by Meda Killgore, LCSW. Willis-Knighton Pierremont Hospital, 8001 Youree Drive, 2nd Floor Conference Room #203, Shreveport, LA 71118. The stories and adventures in dreams are like parables, parables of the soul, images and ideas presented in metaphor and fiction that offer the client an opportunity for insight and direction. Therapists can learn to use the wisdom of the client’s dreams to assist with assessment and development of treatment strategies. Workshop attendees will learn the meaning of common dream symbols and will have an opportunity to practice dream interpretation as well as develop treatment strategies. 6.0 Clinical hours. Pre-registration deadline is 5/17/19. Limited to 27 participants.
