(Houma). Working With Shadow Manifestations in Therapy.   Presented by Meda Killgore, LCSW.   Terrebonne General Hospital, Medical Atrium Auditorium, 8120 Main St., Houma, LA 70360.   Past experiences can interfere with clear perception of the present moment. Left unchecked, those inadequately processed experiences can distort our view of others and impact how we interact within relationships.  With awareness of Shadow influences in our clients and ourselves, we can more accurately pinpoint core issues and appropriate interventions.  Carl Jung’s concept of Shadow provides the theoretical framework behind the Shadow work in this presentation.  Participants learn to identify and challenge Shadow influences.   3.0 Clinical hours.  Pre-registration deadline is 2/21/20. Limited to 40 participants.
