2109: Treating Young Children with Trauma

March 15, 2021 - 1:00pm - 4:15pm.  Treating Young Children with Trauma .  This seminar will provide a review of ways that trauma affects young children, with a focus on interpersonal trauma such as maltreatment. Participants will learn about therapies designed to address post-traumatic stress disorder or other aspects of trauma's effects in this age group. Finally, a clinical case example will illustrate the complexities and benefits of trauma-focused therapy with a young child who had experienced severe maltreatment.  3.0 General hours.
