April 12, 2021 - 1:00pm - 4:15pm.  Adding Mindfulness and Self-Compassion Approaches to Self-Care Practices.  Mindfulness traditions teach ways of relating to our life experiences with greater presence and equanimity. Mental health practitioners can benefit from learning and practicing mindfulness-based approaches to enhance our approaches to self-care. This seminar will combine teaching with experiential exercises, designed to promote relaxation and wellbeing. The seminar will include an introduction to Mindful Self-Compassion (which is an 8-week group program taught worldwide) and guide participants in experiential self-compassion activities.  3.0 General hours.
