2121: Active Listening 101

April 23, 2021 - 1:00pm - 4:15pm.  Active Listening 101.  Active Listening is a therapeutic art desired for all successful Social Workers.  This workshop is designed to review the techniques of active listing along with the possible pitfalls.  Attendees of this workshop will have the ability to review their counseling techniques and possibly identify some fresh ideas for their practice.  Aside from reviewing and identifying possible pitfalls, it is hoped that the attendees will create a platform to encourage their clients to advance with their personal growth.  Active listening is such a basic concept that is so beneficial for both the therapist and the client's growth in counseling sessions.  As this is a virtual workshop,  participants are welcomed to pose questions/statements to the presenter for the attendees input and discussion.  3.0 Clinical hours.
