2200:   Why Professionals Should Take Care of Themselves.  Social Workers must find ways of taking care of themselves to maintain their professionalism. Not practicing self-care can have consequences on both the practitioner and those they serve. This entertaining workshop will assist and reinforce the idea of taking care of yourself to effectively care for others. Participants will complete a pre-assessment and, throughout the session, learn how to identify what self-care is, safe options and techniques for self-care, and how to use time management to support their self-care.
