Multigenerational Trauma: A Legacy of Epigenetic Inheritance. Research demonstrates how psychic legacies are passed across generations through unconscious cues and affective disorders.  Recovery from the spiraling effects of trauma, resulting from intergenerational trauma and violence, requires a collaborative therapeutic strategy allowing individuals, families, and communities to experience healing. This workshop will provide an overview of the impact of multigenerational trauma on society. From a cultural competency perspective, it creates sensitivity and provides resources to help those who bring historical hurts into treatment.  Presented by:  Jack Perkins, D.Min., LADC, CSAC, CCLC.  3.0 General.  Member:  $50 / Non-Member $85.
