2412: The Chemistry of Ethical Self Care

2412:  The Chemistry of Ethical Self Care. This presentation will review the Core Values and Ethical principals in the NASW Code of Ethics with extra attention on Integrity. We will describe what is meant by "self-care" and discuss how appropriate self-care is paramount to the profession of social work. We will discuss the (bio)chemistry associated with different types of self-care and we will practice self-care methods to be used by social workers and the people they serve. Presented by: Lisa Donze Jacob, LCSW. Member: $50 / Non-Member $85   3.00 Ethical. Pre-registration is required to be awarded CEU credit.


Cancellations:

Cancellations must be submitted in writing and received  three days prior to the workshop.  An administrative fee of $15 will be deducted from the reimbursement.



Presenter Bio

Lisa received her MSW from Tulane in 2001 and LCSW in 2005. She works at Mercy Family Center (15 + years). Her primary focus is group, individual and family therapy for ASD1 and PTSD. Lisa a Master Trainer of ACE Educators in Louisiana and certified in PEERS and TFCBT. Other experience: DCFS, Juvenile Detention, support group for adults with ASD1. She presents on ASD1, ACEs, and Self Care for NASW-LA, Beacon, schools and organizations.
