2427: Destructive Effects of Family Estrangement: Can We Do

2427:  Destructive Effects of Family Estrangement: Can We Do Better? This workshop will address the prevalent phenomenon of family estrangement in our culture. This destructive pattern causes painful family fractures that are often reinforced or even introduced prematurely by inexperienced therapists. Therapists responsible for  working with families during critical times in family crisis can provide therapeutic options by conducting accurate assessment of family interactions and dynamics. Setting the foundation for effective and safe alternatives to estrangement improves the lives of adult children and their parents.  Presented by:  Gina Rossi, LCSW-BACS.  Members:  $25 / Non-Member $45.  1.50 Clinical.  Pre-registration is required to be awarded CEU credit.
