254100_017:  "NASW-LA Alexandria Region Sponsored Workshop" FREE for Members. Topic:  Children's Advocacy. Presented by:  Tiffany LaBorde, LMSW, Hannah Hicks, LMSW, Amie Clark, LPC, Annie Johnson Salazar, LPC.  At the end of this training participants will be able to: (1) Define Trauma Focused Training.  (2) Assess clients for referral to the Children's Advocacy Network Trauma Therapy Program.  (3) Cite the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) mission of advocatinge.  1.5 General hour.  Pre-registration is required for planning purposes.

Presenters Bio

Annie Johnson Salazar, MHS, LPC, NCC is a Mental Health Counselor and the Clinical Director at the Children’s Advocacy Network in Alexandria, LA.

Tiffany LaBorde, MSW, LMSW is Advocate Coordinator for the CASA Program at the Children’s Advocacy Network. She received her Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA.

Hannah Hicks, LMSW, is a Clinical Mental Health Therapist at the Children Advocacy Network in Alexandria, LA. She received her Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. Hannah is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Alternative for Families Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Amie Clark, MA, LPC is the Senior Therapist at the Children’s Advocacy Network in Alexandria, LA. She received her master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern State University. Amie is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and provides trauma counseling to children and adolescents.
